• • • Sophie is 3y4mo and Leo is nearly 16mo. I’ve been breastfeeding non stop for 1,232 days now, and expect to be doing so for a while longer yet. I am so proud of this feat and am a huge advocate for breastfeeding – or “a little bit scary in my intensity” as one friend put it recently 😆 – and believe breastfeeding mums deserve to celebrate their achievements in their own right, just as a marathon runner does theirs. This is a learned skill, and bloody hard work with a LOT of sacrifices along the way. But then there’s the incredible pay-offs too ❤️ Swipe across for the video of me being a tandem-feeding referee 🤣 This is what tends to happen whenever I feed them both simultaneously…their interactions are so cute but they feed off each other and it usually escalates til one of them comes off/on too roughly for my liking and I call time 😂 Then I take Leo to his room to #feedtosleep and daddy finishes bed time with Soph.
