Breastfeeding: The first 30 days

If you are about to start nursing a newborn baby, or if you have just started giving your infant mother’s milk and you have questions about what is happening, this video will help you. In today’s KT files, I answer these questions: when will my milk come in; is my baby getting enough milk; how often do I feed my new baby; why “cluster feeding” happens; what is a letdown; and when will it get easier. While I am by no means an expert, I have years of experience now, and I can give you some tips and perspectives that will help you become successful in this age-old and deeply satisfying mother-child relationship.
