What I Eat In A Day: Vegan Breastfeeding Mom, 2500+ Calories

Time flies, and baby Maxwell is now 2 months old! I’m getting back into the swing of things and have begun working out again! That being said, having a consistent “routine” is a thing of the past–and that means more quick, high-raw meals that don’t require a lot of time cooking, and sometimes snack time becomes dinner time!…you’ll see what I mean! 😉

Since becoming a new, mom, I’ve also adopted a new normal! Routines have shifted, sleep is punctuated, and I’ve been eating A LOT…in fact, 2,500 to 3,000 calories per day! (see my other video where I eat 3,000+ calories!)

Breast milk requires a significant amount of calories and energy to produce, and therefore ramps up your appetite, immensely! On top of that, it’s extra important to be supplementing and eating the cleanest and most nourishing plant-based foods possible, because everything you eat, baby eats!

What I eat has remained the same, but the volume has increased, and I’ve also been incorporating a handful of supplements, teas, elixirs, and foods that lend to optimal lactation!
