Our 29 week, 2 lb premature baby, Cruz, is now one week old. See a day in the life of a a breastfeeding NICU mom’s sixth & seventh day postpartum after a c-section. Lance and I finally get to see our other kids after being in the hospital for a week. I get to hold Cruz after waiting for a week due to his arterial lines. It was a moment I won’t ever forget! I filmed these raw hospital vlogs to share the ups and downs of my postpartum experience after being put to sleep under general anesthesia for our emergency c-section birth and what it’s like to have a severely premature baby in NICU in the hopes that it could help someone else know what to expect during their own NICU experience.
