Jamie and I had a rough start to our breastfeeding journey and now that he has decided to start weaning, the end may be near. So I figured it was finally time share the struggles we endured throughout the first 3 months. When you’re pregnant you will be told that breastfeeding is one of the most natural things a woman can do with her body. You will HOPEFULLY also be told that it can be one of the hardest skills you’ll ever try to master. Not everyone will have a baby with ties, thrush, or latching problems. Not everyone will have an oversupply or forceful letdown. Some women will never even get the chance to breastfeed, for some it will be too hard or painful, for others it will be the easiest thing they’ve ever done. Every mother has a breastfeeding journey, this is mine.
