In 2016, my 3 year old was diagnosed with cancer. Breastfeeding Filly through this horrific ordeal has led to the Breastfeeding the Brave project.
I asked whether any families in similar situations would like to collaborate to share their experiences. The post went viral, and the resulting video is a collection of their stories.
This is a not-for-profit awareness campaign – please share widely to tell the stories of the brave. We call for more training, support and acknowledgement of the importance of breastfeeding for critically sick babies and children.
