Why I stopped breastfeeding
I breastfed my now 5-month old for the first three months of her life. We always had issues with breastfeeding, between my pain and her poor latch, I kept going.
I breastfed my first child for 2 years, and was always stressed.
It was emotional to let go of the idea of breastfeeding my baby girl, but I am more relaxed and still have a special connection with her.
Please know that if you need to give formula or if you have to stop breastfeeding, or exclusively pump (my deep respects!) then don’t feel like you have failed, because regardless you are doing everything you can as a mom, the best that you can!
