It is appropriate to make every effort to breastfeed your baby because breast milk is the best food you can give it at least during the first year of life.
It caters to all its nutritional needs, provides antibodies that help prevent infection and protect allergies, asthma, and obesity as they grow.
Breastfeeding can also help a mother to get pregnancy weight more quickly and later protects against breast or ovarian cancer in life.To fill the appetite of a growing baby, raising breastfeeding is one of the primary concerns for breastfeeding mothers.
1. Eat Nuts.
Nuts such as Walnut, Cashew, Almonds etc. are packed with fiber, proteins, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. all of these are much important for the health of the newborn baby and the mother. They are also a good non-dairy source of calcium. These nuts contain monounsaturated fats that help to increase the richness of breast milk.
2. Eat Poultry.
Poultry products like eggs and chicken are a livestock of proteins and vitamin required for a healthy growth of the baby. Protein, riboflavin, lutein, folate, choline and other vitamins present in poultry products. Studies show that these nutrients increase the production of breast milk.
3. Eat Pulses.
Along with being a rich source of proteins, pulses also have a good amount of carbohydrates and phytonutrients. Make sure to chug on at least one medium of cooked pulses every day while breastfeeding. Include split beans, moong beans, kidney beans to make your meals tasty.
4. Drink Water.
Being hydrated is extremely important while breastfeeding. The less water content you will have in the body, the lesser breastmilk will be produced. I don’t think I need to explain the reason for it.
5. Breastfeed often.
The more often and the longer your baby latches on to suck, the more milk you’ll produce. A lactation consultant can teach you the best techniques and positions.
