Happy 1 week to Raine
Woo hoo, I survived the first week of motherhood. And I couldn’t have done it without the support of my ancestors, my husband, my sisters and my mom. Raine had become so calm, it seemed like all she wanted to do was eat and sleep. You know that one advice that mother’s always give to first time mom’s “sleep when baby sleep”. Yeah, lol that didn’t happen..I found myself waiting on Raine to wake. In the midst of her sleeping I was able to pump more milk (which became tiring), so I began to manifest that Raine would have no problems latching on, and feeding. I’m not going to lie, things were a bit Shakey bc all of the sleeping and eating she was doing ceased and she wanted to be held even more which meant that I didn’t have time to pump.
