This week’s Health Matters is all about breast feeding.
In today’s American society, we have not fully embraced the benefits of breast feeding. Benefits that accrue to both the mother as well as the baby. This is a very important topic for not just pregnant women to think about, but for all families because we need to support women who want to breast feed.
Dr. Connie Leeper, a family physician obstetrician for the University medical center said there is a lot of research on how breast feeding is the best option for babies.
