I did a trip by myself for 10 days to the island of Tongatapu in the Pacific Ocean. There was a migration of the Humpback whales traveling all the way up to Canada. You could see them from the shore everyday .
I got to jump in the water while cruising from island to island. And there it was, a 13m long massive silhouette . It was a mom feeding her calf. In silence we jumped in the water . Trying to avoid any movement. Barely breading. The calf would go up every 10 minutes to breathe. He would pass next to me and not even realizing I was there. Such a peaceful sensation. Such an incredible feeling.
We really need to protect our oceans and their creatures. They have so much to teach us..
