BREASTFEEDING WITH RAYNAUD’S

Breastfeeding can be painful for a number of reasons but one reason that you may not have heard about is called raynaud’s syndrome or raynaud’s phenomenon. This is a condition in which your extremities turn white in the cold and become quite tingly or hurt. For some people breastfeeding might be the first time they discover they have raynaud’s when their nipple blanch or turn white when baby unlatches.
