What I Learned Breastfeeding 14 Months | Maddi and Me Family Vlog

I’ve really thought long and hard about what I learned from Breastfeeding for 14 months. Breastfeeding is hard whether it comes easy or not.

I’d say it half came easy for Maddi and Me because Maddi gravitated to the nipple shield. Girl was a breastfeeding fiend though!

As she aged and really the last few months of breastfeeding Maddi used her sessions for comfort. I really did enjoy being close to her and I was nervous to end it. We gradually ended it and then I made an executive decision that we were done!

Maddi definitely needed a week to adjust to the no BF life, but she’s bounced right back to her happy self! It’s such a personal experience and all babies are different so definitely listen to your baby as I did.

I only intended to go 12 months, but I did two extra months for my baby!
