Breastfeeding and Central District Health Department Update 2018

The Central District Health Department (CDHD), located in Boise, Idaho celebrates World Breastfeeding Week. Year round, CDHD supports its employees who are breastfeeding moms returning to the workplace by providing first class amenities like hospital grade breast pumps in designated secure rooms with a sink for clean up, lactation support by IBCLC, adequate break times to pump, a Breastfeeding Policy and opportunities to attend a breastfeeding support group. This video highlights these amenities that enable working moms to provide milk for their babies and illustrates some of the places CDHD breastfeeding moms have pumped, when working away from the office.
