Breastfeeding: Foundation of life, Nourishment for life!

On the occasion of World Breastfeeding week between 1st to 7th August, Shri Dev Murti Ji, Mr. Aditya Murti Ji, Chairman and Secretary, SRMS Trust talk about the huge significance of breastfeeding for the health of a newborn and the mother as well. Dr. S B Gupta, Principal, SRMS IMS highlights the importance of breast milk, which contains antibodies that can prevent several diseases amongst babies. In fact, world bodies like WHO and researchers advice only breast milk for babies till they are 6month old, and supplemented with regular diet till the age of two years.
