Hello everyone !!! Right now we’re still at the hospital who promotes breastfeeding… they put a sign that displaying of formula milk , artificial teats and pacifiers are not allowed in the ward/room and should be kept inside the cabinet… It’s our 3 days stay here because roian is sick … both our families has a history of asthma and both of my kids has it too… but good thing is breastfeeding is a big help it makes him calm and gives him comfort every time his having test etc… urine test is okay, xray theres still no result, cbc is okay, and the way he breathe now is better …

In the Philippines, breastfeeding is protected by various laws, such as the Expanded Breastfeeding Promotion Act of 2009[16] and the Milk Code of the Philippines (Executive Order 51).[17] Mothers are allowed to breastfeed in public. Employers are required to allow lactating employees breaks to breastfeed or express breastmilk. The law also states that the intervals should not be less than a total of forty (40) minutes for every eight (8) hour working period.[18] Offices, public establishments such as malls and schools, and government institutions are required to establish lactation stations separate from the bathroom, where mothers can breastfeed their babies or express milk. The Milk Code prohibits the advertising of infant formula or bottle teats for infants under two years old.[19]
