I was a little nervous to post this personal video but I think it’s important to normalize breastfeeding and that we support moms and each other as much as possible. As I’ve mentioned before we practice and believe in extended breastfeeding. The enormous benefits it brings to the mom and child are to many for us to ignore but what many other breastfeeding mamas will till you is that their little one twiddles when nursing and it drives them CRAZY! This might be TMI for some people but twiddling is a serious problem.
When littles twiddle they drag and dig their nails into your nipple and even well trimmed baby nails are still sharp. Sometimes they also pull and twist. Getting the picture…ouch!
