In this video I share my breastfeeding journey and talk about what I wish i’d known before I even started breastfeeding. My little boy Theo and I had such a rollercoaster journey with breastfeeding during those early days and weeks. We went through a lot together to get to the point where breastfeeding practically became second nature.
Theo started eating solid foods at 6 months so I ended up calling last orders and closing time at the ‘Booby Bar” at 8 months when he was fully weaned. I would have carried on longer but I’m a wimp and was pretty scared about being bitten by those little teeth that were well on their way through at the time!
I was so emotional when we had that final feed (I cried….A LOT!) but I knew it was the right time for both of us, to end that chapter.
I really hope that this video helps other mamas or mamas to be and gives reassurance and encouragement as this really is a topic that is so close to my heart.
