Breastfeeding VS Formula | Benefits + The Truth

When a mother-to-be finds out she is pregnant, she needs to make a choice about how she wants to feed her baby. Formula and Breastfeeding are both healthy options for feeding a baby, but both have different benefits and negatives.

I have 2 children (an almost 3 year old and an 11 month old), and I fed them both differently. My older daughter was exclusively breastfed until 6 months, and then continued to breastfeed through 14 months of age. My younger daughter exclusively breastfed from birth to about 4 or 5 months, then slowly had formula introduced into her diet until she was exclusively bottle-fed with formula.

Because I’ve been on both ends of the debate, I can attest to both sides of the argument. I’ve experienced both of these types of feeding methods, and have witnessed and experienced the positives and negatives of both.
