Finding a BREASTFEEDING PROFESSIONAL is SO important. Your doctor is likely not a breastfeeding professional. Your peer counselor is likely not a breastfeeding professional. Non-professionals CANNOT evaluate the latch and often end up giving you a false positive. “Looks ok to me!” they say.

Hogwash.

As someone who nursed through 3 kids with ties (and quit due to lack of production) and finally sought out PROFESSIONAL help with my 4th, ties are something I’m really passionate about.
