Somehow within my breastfeeding journey… now it seems to me that I have so much more wisdom and so much more understanding of what it really means to be a woman…capable of carrying life within my womb…and capable of giving my essence to my seed in the purest form of breastmilk. Not to take away from the years that I breastfed my first six children…because indeed, with each child it was a joy; looking back at my now three adults of my seven children…I can see how breastfeeding created a long-lasting bond that is quite inexplicable. Maybe it’s just a mother’s love…maybe it’s nothing…but whatever the reason for the beautiful bond that I have with each of my children…I wish it and even greater for all parents…whether their children were breastfed or formula fed…because nothing’s more precious than the feeling of unconditional, unrelenting love given and received between a parent and child.
